Kevin Vuong leads apsi (The Agency for Public + Social Innovation), teaches at the Translational Research Program, works at the University of Toronto as a Faculty of Medicine and serves in the Royal Canadian Navy as a Naval Reserve Officer. Active with his alma mater and community, he serves on Western University’s Council of Presidents and the board of multiple community organizations, agencies and a foundation. Most recently, he was invited by The Vatican to speak at the Pontifical Academy of Sciences on the role of social enterprise to create Decent Work, and advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In 2017, Kevin co-chaired the first UN-Habitat gathering in Canada in the post Habitat III era - the Inclusive Cities Summit. For his service and impact, he has been named one of Her Majesty the Queen’s Young Leaders for Canada, Canada’s Top 30 Under 30, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and The Royal Commonwealth Society.
