Candace Kita

Candace Kita (@candace_kita) is an enthusiastic arts administrator, activist and organizer committed to building powerful connections between art and people. In addition to her involvement on the Equity Committee for Portland Emerging Arts Leaders, she currently serves as Advancement Assistant at the Portland Art Museum and will soon be joining the Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon as its Cultural Work & Development Coordinator. She specifically focuses on creating pathways for individuals of color to access creative opportunities and advance culturally-conscious leadership.  She is an alum of several Americans for the Arts ArtsU trainings.
