About Aneri Pradhan
Aneri Pradhan is a serial social entrepreneur with 10+ years of experience in global development and energy access. Her expertise is on market-led development and innovation for sustainable technologies and last mile distribution. She has worked on projects relating to off-grid renewable energy, water filtration, WiFi deployments, wearables, and connectivity technologies in over 15 countries in Africa and Asia. She is the Founder of ENVenture, an incubator for rural energy distributors in Uganda, and previously worked for Facebook on their sustainability and internet.org initiatives. She also supported MIT Media Lab's digital innovations work in India and was an Energy Access Officer at the United Nations Foundation where she led the Energy and Health initiative in 5 sub-Saharan African countries. She is an American Express Leadership Academy Emerging Innovator and has published in Forbes and The Huffington Post. She has a Master's degree in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
